SDLS Set for Return to Jacksonville in 2016
It is official, the Southern Drycleaners and Launderers Show will be returning to Jacksonville Florida in 2016.
SEFA is extremely excited to be returning to North Florida and based on the success of last years event, we fully anticipate an even bigger and better show the second time around.
“Historically, we have experienced even bigger attendance numbers and bigger booth sales the second time we have visited a city”, cited Russ Bullard, Convention & Exhibit Co-Chair. “We expect to see the trend continue in 2016. Sometimes it takes one exhibit to learn about the city and the convention center. Building on that experience, we know we will be able to deliver an even better convention experience that last year.
The SDLS will be held the weekend of June 24- 26th, and SEFA will be using the Jacksonville Hyatt as the headquarters hotel.
“We are really excited about Jacksonville,” noted Peter Blake, SEFA Executive Director. “The location is perfect for the majority of our members. The rate at the Hyatt is fantastic and the ease of getting to Jacksonville really made it an easy choice. Mark your calendars now, because I know it will be a great event.”
The Future of SDLS
SEFA is already working on future exhibits. SEFA recently investigated Greenville, SC as a potential host city and will be travelling to Ft. Lauderdale in June to explore the convention center there as a future host.
SEFA is looking to plan out the next two conventions in advance so exhibitors will be able to look ahead at SEFA’s plans. The Board’s desire is to settle in on up to three cities and keep the SDLS Convention and Exhibit alternating through the venues.
